Lorain, Ohio - The Brunswick High School Men’s Soccer Team turned in a composed and professional performance Tuesday night in Lorain, earning a 10–0 victory at George Daniel Field to move to 3–0–3 on the season and 2–0–0 in the Greater Cleveland Conference. Lorain, which entered the match at 3–3, fell to 3–4–0 overall and 1–1–0 in GCC play.

Brunswick established control early, scoring seven times in the first half and adding three more after the break. Freshman Anthony Paul led the way with a standout effort, totaling five points on two goals and an assist. It was a breakout night for several Blue Devils, as senior Logan Evans scored the first two varsity goals of his career, junior Campbell Butler added his first varsity goal, senior Cooper McIntosh found the net for the first time, and sophomore Landon Caleris also scored his first varsity goal. Juniors Adam Jaber and Martin Klenjoski added goals as well, rounding out a balanced and encouraging offensive performance.

Senior goalkeeper Artur Vasylkevych earned his fifth consecutive clean sheet without facing a shot on goal, improving his season record to 3–0–3. With the win, Brunswick now leads the historical series between the schools 2–0–0.

Anthony Paul was named Man of the Match for his composed and impactful performance. After the match, Head Coach Ben Dotson praised the freshman’s growth, saying, “I’m super excited for him. It was nice to get him extended minutes tonight and see him put together such a strong performance.”

Across the Greater Cleveland Conference, Cleveland Heights defeated Riverside 4–1 to move to 1–1 in league play, while Riverside fell to 0–2. Strongsville earned a 1–0 win over Mentor, improving to 2–0 while Mentor dropped to 0–2. Shaker Heights defeated Euclid, moving to 2–0 in the GCC, while Euclid fell to 0–2.

Brunswick now turns its attention to one of the premier matchups in Ohio high school soccer. The Blue Devils travel to Cleveland on Thursday night to face St. Ignatius, the number-one ranked team in the state. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM from Wasmer Field.
