Brunswick, Ohio — The Brunswick High School Men’s Soccer Team battled to a 0–0 draw tonight at Brunswick Auto Mart Stadium against visiting Berea-Midpark in the rescheduled non-conference matchup. With the result, Brunswick moves to 0-0-3, while Berea-Midpark remains unbeaten at 1-0-2.

Brunswick continues to lead the historical series, 4-2-2.

From the opening whistle, Brunswick controlled the run of play, dictating tempo, territory, and possession. The Blue Devils generated a steady stream of chances throughout the match, but despite their dominance, the breakthrough never arrived. Brunswick outshot the Titans 17–3, including an 8–3 advantage in shots on goal, and held a 7–3 edge in corner kicks, but the final touch remained elusive.

Defensively, Brunswick another complete performance. The Titans were limited to just one quality scoring chance — a well-executed set-piece routine midway through the first half. Berea-Midpark’s Chris Ngulamposo rose for a powerful header that beat goalkeeper Artur Vasylkevych, but junior captain and defender Ryan Dick made a heroic goal-line clearance to keep the match level.

Senior forward Levi Eidenmiller earned Man of the Match honors for his outstanding performance leading the line. His hold-up play, pressing, and chance creation were central to Brunswick’s attacking rhythm and kept Berea-Midpark under pressure throughout the evening.

Senior goalkeeper Artur Vasylkevych made three saves, now 13 on the season, and recorded his second consecutive clean sheet. Senior Mahmoud Mustafa made eight saves for the Titans, and earned his second consecutive clean sheet as well.

Head Coach Ben Dotson expressed empathy and took accountability following the draw:

“I’m frustrated for the boys — it’s never easy to be in a scoring slump. But our football is really good right now. We are limiting chances. We’re executing at a high level, creating chances, and we just keep coming up a touch away. It’s on me to find an answer, and I accept responsibility to find it.”

Brunswick returns to action on Saturday night, welcoming Ashland to Brunswick Auto Mart Stadium for a 7:00 PM kickoff.
