Brunswick, Ohio — The Brunswick High School Men’s Soccer Team drew against four-time state champion, North Olmsted, 0-0 on Saturday night. Brunswick's record is now 8-4-4 and North Olmsted is 9-4-4.

Brunswick continues to lead the all-time series 2-0-2.

In the first half, Brunswick dominated play from the opening whistle. Brunswick's best chance of the first half came off a brilliant team move that put sophomore Adam Jaber in behind by himself. Jaber made a great effort on net that was brilliantly saved by sophomore goalkeeper Ryan Revay. Brunswick outshot North Olmsted 6-1 on goal the remainder of the half.

In the second half, the game became much more wide open, but neither team was able to find the go-ahead goal.

Brunswick Head Coach named Carter Trexler Man Of The Match for a fantastic performance off the bench. “Carter had a rough week, was sick all week but battled through it. I thought he put in a good shift and provided a good options up front for us."

Senior goalkeeper and captain Eli Hyde two saves in the win. He earned his eighth clean sheet of the season and his record stands at 8-4-4. Ryan Revay made eight saves for North Olmsted.

The clean sheet for Hyde was the 29th of his career, which sets a new all all-time career clean sheet record. He passes former All-Region selection and current goalkeeping coach, Gavin Leindecker, class of 2017.

Brunswick next plays on Tuesday, October 14th, when they travel to Euclid for a GCC Finale. Kick-off is scheduled for 7pm.
