Athletics Social Media Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Brunswick Athletics’ official

social media platforms and websites, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter),

YouTube, and any other digital channels (“Platforms”) operated by Brunswick Athletics. By

engaging with our Platforms in any manner, including viewing, commenting, sharing, posting,

tagging, or messaging, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Community Standards

Users must conduct themselves in a respectful, lawful, and sportsmanlike manner. Brunswick

Athletics prohibits any content or behavior that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, threatening,

discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate. We reserve the right to remove such

content and block offending users without any notice or warning at any time.

2. Content Ownership and Usage

By posting or submitting content (EX: videos, pictures, photos, graphics, etc) to our Platforms,

you grant Brunswick Athletics a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to

use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display such content in any media for promotional,

marketing, or informational purposes. You affirm that you own or have the necessary rights to

share such content.

3. Privacy and Personal Information

Do not post or share personal information, yours or others’, including phone numbers,

addresses, email addresses, or private messages in comments or anywhere else that is publicly

visible to more than you and BCSD. Brunswick Athletics is not responsible for any

consequences resulting from the public disclosure of personal data.

4. Third-Party Links and Promotions

Brunswick Athletics does not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party content, links, or

promotions posted by users. Unauthorized advertising, impersonation, solicitation, or

commercial activity is strictly prohibited.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

Brunswick Athletics reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to monitor all activity on its

Platforms. We may remove, restrict, block, or further monitor any content or user account that

violates these Terms or undermines the integrity of our community. Enforcement actions may

be taken without prior notice and are final.

6. Legal Compliance

Users must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws while interacting with our

Platforms. In addition, you must follow all terms and conditions for each social media

platform, which has been put in place by each company. Any unlawful activity will be reported

to the appropriate authorities or social media companies.

7. Limitation of Liability

Brunswick Athletics shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential

damages arising from your use of or interaction with our Platforms. All content is provided “as

is” without warranties of any kind.

8. Modifications

Brunswick Athletics reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time

without prior notice. Continued use of our Platforms following any changes constitutes

acceptance of the revised Terms unless a new official account is created for Brunswick

Athletics.

Enforcement Statement

By accessing, interacting with, or posting on any Brunswick Athletics social media platform,

users affirm their unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge

that Brunswick Athletics reserves the full and exclusive right to monitor, moderate, and

enforce compliance across all digital channels. Brunswick Athletics may, at its sole discretion

and without prior notice, remove, restrict, or permanently ban any content or user account that

violates these terms, disrupts community standards, or undermines the safety, integrity, or

reputation of the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, content that is defamatory,

discriminatory, harassing, obscene, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate. Enforcement actions

may be taken immediately and without warning, and are final, binding, and not subject to

appeal or negotiation. Brunswick Athletics shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or

consequence resulting from such enforcement actions. Users are solely responsible for their

conduct and content, and are expected to remain informed of any updates to these Terms.

Brunswick Athletics is committed to maintaining a secure, respectful, and values-driven digital

environment, and will exercise all necessary authority to uphold these standards with zero

tolerance for violations.
