Dawn Allar
The Director of Community Relations for Brunswick City Schools leads comprehensive communication and engagement efforts across the entire district, overseeing strategic messaging, media relations, digital content, and community partnerships that support students, staff, and families at every level. This role ensures consistent, transparent communication that highlights district initiatives, celebrates school achievements, and strengthens connections with local organizations and stakeholders. In addition to district-wide responsibilities, the Director of Community Relations collaborates closely with the athletic department to promote events, share student-athlete accomplishments, and enhance community involvement in Blue Devils athletics, helping unify the district’s academic and extracurricular stories under one cohesive voice.
