Joe Mackey
The Head Boys Basketball Coach for Brunswick City Schools leads the development, culture, and competitive success of the Blue Devils boys basketball program. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, including player development, practice planning, game strategy, and mentorship of student-athletes both on and off the court. The coach works closely with assistant coaches, teachers, and administrators to promote academic accountability, sportsmanship, and personal growth, while fostering a positive team environment built on discipline and teamwork. In addition, the Head Boys Basketball Coach collaborates with the athletic department to support program operations, community engagement, and the long-standing tradition of excellence within Brunswick athletics.
