Brian Schmidt
A 2004 graduate of Brunswick High School, Brian Schmidt, played basketball under longtime head coach Joe Mackey, and his passion for Brunswick athletics has never faded. As those who know him will tell you β he bleeds Blue.
Brian attended Heidelberg University, where he earned a degree in Sport Management and Business while continuing his basketball career at the collegiate level.
He spent a decade at Baldwin Wallace University, serving as an Assistant Menβs Basketball Coach from 2014β2022 before being promoted to Associate Head Coach in 2022.
Brian joined Brunswick Athletics in August, 2025.
